Black and White Finish

Another Friday Finish to share...the second quilt finished for our Guild's goal to donate 80 quilts to St. Jude's Ronald McDonald's Home for Christmas.  The pattern came from our guild's Block of the month ("Propeller").

It was my chance to use a Black/Gray/White variegated thread I picked up at the Houston Show several years ago.

For the back, I used a safari fabric....just right for a young boy.

I don't think I would have enough variety of blacks for a quilt - I don't know why I never collect up any this looks really great.

I admire your guild's goal and hope you all feel good about the contribution.
And I really like all the blacks and whites in this. What a great quilt and a great accomplishment!
